Tottenham vs Man City: Spurs through on away goals in thrilling Champions League clash
Heung-Min Son's second-half strike proved decisive as Tottenham overcame Manchester City in a pulsating Champions League quarterfinal second leg on Wednesday

The match erupted into life from the off, with Raheem Sterling putting City ahead after just four minutes. Son levelled just three minutes later, before Bernardo Silva restored City's lead in the 11th minute. Sergio Aguero made it 3-2 to the hosts early in the second half, but Fernando Llorente's bundled finish drew Spurs level again.
The drama continued in the 73rd minute, when Sterling grabbed his second of the night to put City back in front. However, Son had the final say, firing home a stunning strike from outside the area just seven minutes later to send Spurs through to the semifinals.
The match was a thrilling end-to-end affair, with both sides creating chances throughout. City dominated possession, but Spurs were dangerous on the counterattack and ultimately proved clinical in front of goal.
Tottenham's win is a major upset, as City were considered one of the favourites to win the Champions League this season. However, Spurs have now shown that they are a force to be reckoned with, and they will be confident of going all the way in this year's competition.
Spurs will now face Ajax in the semifinals, with the first leg to be played in London on April 30. The second leg will take place in Amsterdam on May 8.
