Mikel Arteta's side kept their hopes alive
Arsenal gave their hopes of beating Manchester City to the Premier League title a psychological boost as they defeated the reigning champions 2-1 at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.
Kevin de Bruyne had given City the lead with a stunning long-range strike in the 20th minute, but Bukayo Saka equalised from the spot just before half-time after Ederson had fouled Gabriel Martinelli.
The Gunners then completed the turnaround in the 75th minute when Martinelli's shot deflected in off Nathan Ake.
The victory was Arsenal's first over City in the league since December 2015 and moves them up to second place in the table going into the international break.
